Chef Sheets Reviews
The idea of Chef Sheets is simple: A flexible nonstick mat which can be placed on a grill or as a liner for baking pans. The sheet can be cut to size to fit pans, or used full sized on a grill. Chef Sheets are said to be superior to aluminum foil because you can reuse it and it provides a nonstick surface.
Chef Sheets is advertised to solve more problems than competing grill sheets. In addition to its use on a grill, it is touted as being useful for baking, as an oven liner, or for preparing food.
Chef Sheets does a pretty good job of performing as advertised, providing a sufficient nonstick surface for a variety of kitchen needs. It seems well suited for grilling some products which don’t require charring (such as steak). It cleans easily and can be rolled to be placed in a drawer.
There are of course possible cons for potential consumers. Char marks, for example, are difficult to achieve when grilling with sheets such as this. It also may seem small when used on a large grill.
We anticipate around a 3-star consumer consensus for Chef Sheets, as it performs on par with similar products which receive ratings in that ballpark.
Chef Sheets is one of several As Seen on TV products which performs essentially the same function: A reusable, easy to clean, nonstick surface. Recent products include Yoshi Grill & Bake Mats and Miracle Grill Mat, along with the much higher end GrillGrates.
Overall, Chef Sheets is a fine addition to any kitchen. It isn’t clear what advantage (if any) it has over competing products, but we feel the majority of consumers who purchase Chef Sheets will be satisfied with the results.
