FaceFX by Silk’n is a face skin rejuvenation device which is said to take as much as 10 years off of your face. It uses fractal red light therapy along with thermal heating which supposedly stimulates collagen production.

Our tests with FaceFX have been generally positive, although it isn’t necessarily a miracle cure. It does however, deliver in key areas such as fine wrinkles and pore size. We found the warmth to be pleasant and not too hot.

To achieve any significant results from FaceFX, you’ll need to use it regularly. Treatments can take 5 minutesĀ on each treatment or about 20 minutes total, which not all consumers will be willing to invest. At first you’ll want to use it a few times a week, with maintenance uses occurring about once a week thereafter. The time investment may be too much for some users, butĀ even though a doctor’s office is shorter, factoring in the drive there and back may make the time investment here similar.

Some users have reported that the device will not hold a charge after a few uses. We did not find this to be the case, but company reps have been helpful to those who have expressed such a problem. One solution is to let the battery completely discharge before charging it again.

FaceFX may not be as potent as those you’ll find at spas or doctor’s offices, but factoring in the cost and convenience, it is certainly a worthy product in this field.

There are a number of lasers for facial rejuvenation available. The cost of FaceFX is around the middle of the pack, while its consumer satisfaction rating typically hovers around 3 stars – which is not far off from others in this price range.

Epic Conclusion

FaceFX delivers, but the time investment may be too much for some consumers. Those who stick it out will likely find pleasing results after about 2 months.
