With claims that Grab Bag is composed of “earth-friendly” and flexible material, some customers may be curious as to exactly what this material is, and how durable it is. This is the main question we have in regards to Grab Bag. We have interviewed several consumers we spotted using Grab Bag since the original version of this review was posted in early 2015. The consensus among those customers were that they were satisfied with the purchase. Indeed, Grab Bag as of this writing holds a solid 4.3 star rating on Amazon, with the majority of consumers expressing positive experiences.
Our product researchers have tried Grab Bag, and feel that it works generally as advertised. It is sturdy, durable, and is capable of holding a large number of items without breaking. Most grocery stores offer their own reusable grocery bags for as little as $2. I ordered the two for one grab bags for $14.99 and free shipping. When they came, other bags were included and the total charge was $48.58. I called them and told them that I hadn’t ordered these things and they said they would give me a $10 discount. I felt deceived and returned all the merchandise at a cost to me of $11. As far as I’m concerned, this company tried to rip me off.
Tried to edit an order and couldn’t so I got out of their website. Then they send me an order confirmation for an order I didn’t complete.
Won’t accept emails and no way to get a customer service rep on their phone system. Have all ready called and stopped payment on my card. Terrible system try and edit an they will only allow order increases.
I have not tried these and don’t intend to. The claim is the bag can hold 40 pounds. I don’t want to lift a 40 pound bag of groceries from my car. Try getting a store sacker to not overfill that sucker. Think I’ll just sit back and watch a bit and see how this plays out.
I was ordering the grab bags from PCH (publishers clearing house) and decided to not go through with the order and tried to back out, even deleted all my info and the order still went through. So I called to customer service and advised that I did not want the items and was told to return them once they were received. That’s exactly what I did. Once they arrived, I called to customer service and asked for a return shipping label. They sent me one and I returned them. Got my refund and now I’m satisified 🙂
This is for anyone who is in a wheelchair or knows someone in one. I bought a set of the Grab Bags and they work perfectly on the back on John’s wheelchair. When we go grocery shopping I need to push him in his own chair so I couldn’t also push or pull a shopping cart. I took the black plastic supports out (they just slip thru their casting) and I slipped the handles of the wheelchair where the supports where. They is a pocket on the outside for your wallet, keys, phone etc. It holds a lot! If I am buying quite a bit, I carry both in and when the first one gets full, I put it in John’s lap and slip the other one on the back of the chair. At check out I transfer everything to the counter and push John over the cashier and she will bag the items and replace them in the Grab Bags. They are always shocked at how much I can get into one bag. It doesn’t slip off the handles as I have a good grip pushing him and it fits fairly tight. When we get to the car, it’s easy to slide the Grab Bag off the wheelchair handles and use its handles and just place it in the car. The Grab Bags have elastic at the tops to keep anything from falling out accidently. It has made it possible for John to go shopping with me again which we both enjoy. If you know someone in a wheelchair I know they would appreciate one or two.
